Her birthday is on March 29, 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is Mexican as well as American. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong interest in playing activities. Gerina played golf in her first game at the age of 15. Gerina finished her High School studies through Goddard High School. In high school she won the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. She also had her volleyball skills recognised at a national stage. In 2003, she started her studies at the University of Texas. She won all of the competitions she participated in during her senior year. While in her undergrad year, she received as the conference's best player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of the Year.
